Why is everyone being asked to reapply for The Christian Crew?

Initially upon the formation of The Christian Crew, it was intended that Biblical Christians - individuals saved by the Blood of Christ, would upon acceptance become Christian Crew Members. Over time the addition of ACC tags were incorporated to identify non-Christian members, in hopes of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. (Mark 13:10)

With much prayer and contemplation on this issue, the entire Council has decided to eliminate a non-believer membership, and dropping the ACC tag. It was an error on the Council's part to incorporate a non-Christian membership into The Christian Crew, as our friends who are not believers are always welcome, but do not require full membership in a community based on a worldview they do not support, nor should we as Christians unequally yoke ourselves in the interests of our Ministry. (2 Corinthians 6:14)

In addition, our Community has grown to staggering size and the Council, like any Ministry, Fellowship, or Church would do; seeks Revival, and a refocusing of our direction and mission. One literal definition of the word "community" is a group of people sharing common interests that perceives itself as distinct from the larger society in which it exists. (Romans 12:2)

At this time, we ask that you understand the Council is not asking anything of each of you that we would not be asked to do ourselves. Every current Council Member has completed their own Application, and these will be free to view so that you will know us as we know you. The new applications serve only as a way for us all to gain a better understanding of each other, to revive our Mission, and to bring all Glory to God. (Luke 6:36-38)

This reapplication process is not meant to single anyone out, in fact, it is being done to further strengthen, focus, and arm our community to honor God in all things. Just as a house divided will fall, so too will a house of Unity and Strength weather the winds of change, the stones of persecution, and the arrows of attack.
